The Auglaize County Public District Library System, Wapakoneta, Ohio seeks an energetic and resourceful motivator as its next Library Director. As Director you will be expected to be a leader in the library as well as in the community. You will be charged with creating an inspiring vision and a strategic plan, using a team approach, that will excite and engage this thriving, idyllic rural county. Your resources will include a dedicated and stable staff of 24, six community libraries, and a $1,000,000 budget. It is assumed you will guide the board and administrative team in developing additional resources through active involvement in the individual communities and by collaborating and developing partnerships with other entities. Enthusiasm for empowering staff is a must.

ACPDL serves an area of 37,000 that has excellent and affordable housing, great schools and close proximity to cultural and recreational opportunities.

Qualified applicants will present leadership skills, sound team building experience, an understanding of emerging technology, relevant library achievements, and an MLS or equivalent.

Salary range from the $50,000's negotiable based upon experience. Excellent benefits.
